Rainbow Mist Linen Rayon Blend

A bright rainbow, multicoloured design.

This  is Made from 80% Rayon 15% Linen 5% Cotton blend is the perfect summer dressmaking fabric. Woven with both natural fibres, it is less prone to creasing than 100% Linen and the combination of both of these fibres gives you the best of both worlds with a softer drape than linen.

Width of fabric: 140cm/ 54″

They have a plain weave with a slight ‘slub’ effect which makes them look like pure linen. They are smooth and soft to the touch which is owing to the rayon content, and this fabric has a lovely drape. It’s cool against the skin in hot weather, and gentle for sensitive skin. 
It makes beautiful dresses, tunics and summer tops as well as men’s shirts.

We recommend that you pre-wash this fabric before sewing as it may shrink slightly during its first wash.
