Pinstripe Polycotton Twill

Polycotton twill is a strong and sturdy fabric that has been woven with a diagonal ’twill’ weave which gives the cloth it’s added strength and durability and distinctive woven lines.

The fine pin stripes on these fabrics runs parallel to the selvedge.

Polycotton twill is commonly used for making shorts, trousers, aprons and boiler suits, skirts with a stiff drape dungarees, and pinafore dresses.

We recommend you pre-wash these fabrics before sewing to minimise any shrinkage on the first wash. This should be minimal (around 2-5%).
As the base cloth of these fabrics is white, we recommend washing with other white fabrics only to protect the colour.
