Checkerboard Polycotton Drill

Polycotton Drill is a hardwearing fabric constructed with a twill weave which creates a strong diagonal pattern within the weave. This drill has been printed with a classic checkerboard pattern on a crisp white background.

These are medium weight fabrics commonly used for making workwear and uniforms- such as chef’s trousers!
But they are also reminiscent of 60’s style clothing and would be great for a 60’s wiggle dress.
It has good structure and works really well for trousers, skirts and dungarees as well as bags and home decor projects.

Weight” approx 200gsm

Washing Instructions: Suitable for a 40 degree machine wash and medium tumble dry. Iron on a cotton setting to removes creases.
We advise that you pre-wash this fabric to allow for any shrinkage due to the nature of the cloth and would strongly recommend testing a small piece first before to be sure.
