Charcoal Black Dot Weave Pure Wool Suiting

A high quality 100% wool fabric made for formal suits, but also suitable for other dressmaking projects.

A lovely smooth, crisp fabric with a light drape. The colour of this pure wool suiting is black, but it has been cross woven with a dark charcoal grey which gives it the look of tiny dots, but when looked at from a distance it almost forms a subtle check. If you run your hand over its smooth surface you can feel the texture of the weave. This would make a stunning choice for a custom suit or waistcoat, but would also be perfect for paper-bag trousers, a circle skirt, a formal office-wear dress, or a blazer. It has beautiful movement and it instantly bounces back to its original shape when crumpled with your hand.
