Butcher’s Stripe Polycotton Twill

A medium weight polycotton fabric which is strong and hard wearing. It has a distinctive diagonal weave but isn’t as heavy as drill. Perfect for making trousers and shorts and traditional aprons. This black and white stripe was traditionally used to make Butcher’s aprons.

The polyester content in this cloth gives a good crease resistance and drape. It’s smooth to the touch and soft to the handle. Perfect for making trousers, shorts, tabards and aprons.

Washing Instructions: Suitable for a 40 degree machine wash and medium tumble dry. Iron on a cotton setting to removes creases.
We advise that you pre-wash this fabric to allow for any shrinkage due to the nature of the cloth and would strongly recommend testing a small piece first before to be sure
