Organza is a lightweight, sheer, plain-woven fabric made from synthetic fibres. From wedding dresses to evening wear and draping in home decor, organza has many versatile and decorative uses. Characterised by its lightweight and slightly shiny appearance, organza is great for building sculptural and flowy dresses and gowns.
100% Polyester
Organza fabric is a sheer material with an elegant floaty drape. This fabric is made using a plain weave, meaning the warp and weft yarns are woven into a basic crisscross formation, which gives Organza its mesh-like qualities. This means that organza can be used in soft bows and other draping. It keeps it shape better than other sheer fabrics such as chiffon but is not stiff. Organza is known for being ‘floaty’ and can be used to create very romantic garments. especially puff sleeves and overlaps on skirts.
Any colour with a ‘TT’ number before it is a two-tone colour.
