Summer Meadow Madras Cotton

A bright green and yellow multicoloured cotton fabric woven into a plaid/ tartan. We have named this colour-way ‘summer meadow’ as it reminds us of sunny days spent playing on the grass.

Madras cotton is a lightweight fabric with typically patterned texture and a tartan check design, used primarily for summer clothing such as men’s shirts, shorts, dresses, and light jackets. The cloth is traditionally completely hand-woven from yarns dyed with native vegetable colourings.
