Charcoal Flecked Wool

A pure wool fabric that has a dense and felted texture where the surface of the fabric has been fulled. This fabric has been woven with dyed yarns so it is the same both side. The yarns have small fibres woven within them that are lighter in colour than the main yarn so this gives a fabulous melange or flecked appearance like donegal wool.

This fabric is perfect for warm dressmaking projects such as warm winter coats and skirts. However, it can also be fantastic for use in home decor projects such as cushions, handbags and throws.

Washing Instructions: We recommend dry clean or hand wash in cool-warm water only as the best way to guarantee your wool will remain in top quality condition. Do NOT tumble dry. A cool-warm steam iron can be used to gently press the item once completely dry.
