Black, White and Red Tartan Cotton Lawn

A traditional black and white cotton tartan/ plaid fabric that has been yarn woven so it is the same both sides.

This quality of cloth is called ‘Truella’.
 
A lightweight and finely woven cloth that makes lovely children’s clothes, ladies blouses gathered skirts and lined dresses, as well as men’s shirts.

We recommend you pre-wash this fabric before sewing. A we recommend cotton lawn for a lining if using on a dress bodice.
