Cotton Viscose Birdseye Pattern Suiting

An ex. designer cotton-viscose blend suiting fabric that is has a medium weight and a stiff handle. The small cross/ circles pattern ‘birdseye’ has been woven into this fabric with dyed yarns, like a jacquard. This fabric has been made with dressmaking projects in mind that need extra structure and body such as fitted trousers, skirts and blazers.
It is perfect for formal clothes and dressmaking.

Although the composition of this fabric includes elastane, this fabric has real body to it and the stretch is only slight to add comfort selvedge-to-selvedge. This would look so great made into a pair of fitted trousers and its cotton composition means it is easy care compared to wool suiting fabrics.
