Black Marl Boucle Polyester Woollen

A black and white colour curly boucle fabric that looks like wool but is made from polyester- so machine washable and easy care!

The word “bouclé” comes from the French word boucler, which means “to curl”. Bouclé fabric is made by combining at least two strands of yarn, with one strand having looser tension than the other. The looser strand forms the loops, while the other strand acts as an anchor. This gives the fabric its characteristic curly/ woolly texture which is favoured in fashionable winter coats, jackets, and even handbags and footstools etc.
This boucle is 100% Polyester which accounts for its gorgeous softness! It can be easily machine washed at 30 degrees so it is much more easy care than a wool boucle and it has a lovely flat and soft fleece feel to the back.
