Description
A traditional red cotton tartan/ plaid fabric that has been yarn woven so it is the same both sides.
This pattern is the classic British Stewart red tartan, well known for it’s associations with Christmas. This fabric would make lovely Christmas dresses and shirts!
This quality of cloth is called ‘Truella’.
A lightweight and finely woven cloth that makes lovely children’s clothes, ladies blouses gathered skirts and lined dresses, as well as men’s shirts.
We recommend you pre-wash this fabric before sewing. A we recommend cotton lawn for a lining if using on a dress bodice.
