This lightweight, woven viscose fabric is perfect for dresses and tops that need a light drape, movement, breathability and softness against the skin.
Viscose is a man-made natural fibre. It has been made from wood pulp fibres and has the favourable properties of cotton, but a much lighter drape making it great for beautiful ‘swishy’ garments. It is breathable and smooth to the touch. It can be used for adults and children alike.
It’s a popular choice for summer dresses, gathered skirts, floaty shirts and also casual and flattering peplum style tops.

When sewing viscose we would recommend pre-washing to allow for any potential shrinkage and we would recommend a fine machine needle such as Klasse Hemline Universal Fine.
