Description
Polycotton fabric with a seersucker ripple stripe.
Seersucker fabric has been around for centuries, its name comes from the Persian phrase shir-o-shakhar meaning “milk and sugar” for the alternating textures. This particular seersucker fabric is made of polycotton which gives it softness and breathability, but with some crease-resistance to make it easy care. Seersucker is traditionally woven on a loom with threads at different tensions which gives it a characteristic crinkle or wrinkled texture, perfect for making casual summer garments.
Machine wash at 30 degrees celsius, iron in the back.
