The Schmetz Leather (LL) Needle has a left twist cutting point. The cutting point easily penetrates leather, artificial leather and heavy non-woven synthetics. It also creates an angled stitching line, which gives the seam a decorative look. Please note: Leather needles are not suitable for textiles due to their cutting effect, as woven or knitted fabrics can be severed during sewing.

These needles suit all modern machines including Bernina, Bernette, Brother, Elna, Husqvarna, Janome, New Home, Pfaff, Simplicity, Singer, Toyota, Viking etc.

These needles all have a FLAT SIDE at the top half for perfect fit in your machine.
Each needle is colour coded with bands to show the needle type and size alongside the embossed information on the top of the needle – an example of this is shown in out image gallery.
