Schmetz 80/12 Microtex Machine Needles

The Schmetz Microtex Needle (also known as a Sharp needle) features a very slim acute point allowing for accurate stitching in very fine or densely woven materials. The special blade shape also helps to prevent needle breakage and skipped stitches. Acute points are more sensitive than rounded or ball points, you should therefore check the needle for damage more frequently and replace it in good time.

These needles suit all modern machines including Bernina, Bernette, Brother, Elna, Husqvarna, Janome, New Home, Pfaff, Simplicity, Singer, Toyota, Viking etc.

These needles all have a FLAT SIDE at the top half for perfect fit in your machine.
Each needle is colour coded with bands to show the needle type and size alongside the embossed information on the top of the needle – an example of this is shown in out image gallery.
