Polyester Crushed Velvet

A medium weight dressmaking crushed velvet which has a knit backing and stretches well in one direction.

A shimmery crushed velvet fabric with a one way stretch for added comfort and close fit. This fabric would make lovely party dresses and fitted tops for the winter and christmas period.
It’s lovely and stretchy too! A 10cm length of the fabric along the width stretches to approx 15cm. It stretches along the width (selvedge to selvedge) but also has some ‘give’ in the other direction as it is a knit weave fabric.
100% Polyester.
150cm Wide (60″).

Machine wash at 40 degrees. Iron with caution on the back only, on a cool polyester setting.
We recommend you use a stretch needle to sew this fabric and also a stretch stitch (slight zig zag).
