Nature Printed Ramie Cotton

What is Ramie?
Ramie is a natural fibre made from the stalks for a flowering nettle plant. It is a sustainable fibre as it requires very few, if any, pesticides or herbicides to grow and as a cloth it is very breathable, absorbent, and has a crisp, linen-like texture, making it ideal for warm-weather clothing. It is often also referred to as “Chinese linen” or “grass cloth”.
Blending it with cotton creates a comfortable, soft dressmaking fabric which has a medium drape and good structure. It’s great for sewing summer trousers, tops, shirts and dresses.
