Gütermann Sew-All thread is the best quality general purpose sewing thread that you can buy.  It has been made in Germany for over 150 years.
A refined manufacturing process makes this thread wonderful to sew with for a huge variety of jobs including hand sewing, overlocking and machine sewing.It is strong, washes well and has been made to OEKO-TEX STANDARD® 100.
As the name suggests this thread is suitable to sew all materials and seams. This thread is able to be used both by hand and on the sewing machine with optimal stitch security with no thick or thin areas.
Gütermann Sew All thread is perfect for all types of seams and overlocking, buttonholes and sewing on buttons, but equally suitable for decorative and ornamental stitching.
The recommended needle size for this thread is 70-90 ranging from fine material use to heavier fabrics.
This thread is able to withstand a 95 degree wash, hot heat tumble drying and a hot iron up to a maximum of 200 degrees. It is safe to dry clean this thread as well as using a non-chlorine bleach.
