Description
The fuse-a-web has a paper backing and the only tools required are scissors and a hot iron with a damp cloth.
This is the easy and clean way to affix fabric to fabric in applique and craft work.
It is used in the same way as hemming web but has the advantage of being 50cm wide, making it suitable for larger items. The open diamond web makes this great for attaching motifs to fabric and gives a secure bond.
This web also works as a hemming web when cut into strips.
How to use:
Making sure the iron is set at the correct temperature, first mark out the rough size required to be bonded on the paper side. Place this web side down onto the reverse of the item and iron the paper with a dry heat. Trim away the surplus web and paper around the item. Peel off the paper and place the item onto the object to be bonded, coated side down onto the fabric in the required position. Cover with a damp cloth and iron bit by bit keeping the heat on for usually no more than 10second. To finish let item cool down completely.
This is washable at a low temperature of no more than 30degrees.
* This item will always come folded unless you have purchased a 25 metre roll*
