The Schmetz Embroidery needle protects fragile threads and guards against excess friction allowing trouble-free embroidery and decorative stitching. The Embroidery Needle has an extra-wide needle eye and a wide thread groove. These ensure that sewing and embroidery threads glide effortlessly through the groove and eye and are handled gently without tearing. The medium ball point helps to avoid damage to the embroidery thread and the embroidery base. Suitable for embroidering with embroidery machines and also for decorative stitches or free motion embroidery (needle painting) with household sewing machines.

These needles all have a FLAT SIDE at the top half for perfect fit in your machine.
Each needle is colour coded with bands to show the needle type and size alongside the embossed information on the top of the needle – an example of this is shown in out image gallery.
