100% Lasenby Cotton
A high quality cloth favoured for patchwork and quilting projects.
Designed by Liberty of London and printed in Italy.
Every fabric has a selvedge printed with the liberty logo and the details of the pattern on the fabric. These can be turned into labels on your makes.
A beautiful collection of fabrics called ‘Postcards from the Highlands’.
A soft purple and pink colour palette featuring Scottish flowers such as Marsh Orchids, Foxgloves and of course Thistles, and pretty Scottish scenes.
These fabrics would make stunning quilts, but they also make beautiful clothes such as the bloomers and bonnet in the main photographs.
(The pattern used to make these was ‘The Bonnet Bundle’ by OhMeOhMySewing on Etsy and the ‘Diaper Cover Sewing Pattern’ by 5BerriesPatterns on Etsy.)
These fabrics are all pure cotton, and as such we would recommend that you pre-wash them with a colour-catcher at 40 degrees before cutting or sewing to minimise any potential shrinkage. It is normal to expect cottons to shrink up to 2-5% in the first wash.
These fabrics are all 112cm wide (approx 42″)
