Viscose fabrics are perfect for dresses and tops that need a light drape, movement, breathability and softness against the skin.
Viscose is a man-made natural fibre. It has been made from processed wood pulp fibres and has the favourable properties of cotton, but a much lighter drape like polyester making it great for beautiful ‘swishy’ garments. It is breathable and smooth to the touch. It can be used for adults and children alike.
It’s a popular choice for summer dresses, gathered skirts, floaty shirts and also casual and flattering peplum style tops.
This fabric is sold in increments of Half Metre and Metre
Build your own length by adding these to your basket.
For example: If you need 3.5m please add 3 x ‘metre’ and 1 x ‘half metre’ to your basket. You will receive a piece that measures 350cm x the width (140cm).
Multiple purchases will ALWAYS be cut as one full length from the bolt and NOT as individual half metres
We recommend you pre-wash your viscose before sewing as it can shrink up to 5% in the first wash as it is a natural fibre.
