Pure Linen fabrics for dressmaking in a range of earthy and natural tones as well as brighter colours with a naturally occurring slub.
Linen is a natural fibre made from the flax plant. It is particularly favoured for its breathability and its ability to take moisture from the skin which makes it the perfect to be worn in the summer months when the weather is hot.
Linen naturally creases, which is part of its charm and as a fabric that has been used for hundreds of years – it has a rustic charm about it.
It makes beautiful dresses, tunics, tops and also children’s clothes, but can also be used for embroidery, napkins, period costumes and so much more.
