  • Enzyme Washed Linens- More eco friendly process
  • 140cm/ 55″ Wide
  • Weight approx 230g/m2
  • Wash at 30 degrees, hot iron to remove creases, do not tumble dry, do not bleach
  • To account for shrinkage on its first wash, we recommend that you pre-wash this fabric before cutting and sewing

Linen is a natural fibre made from the flax plant. It is particularly favoured for its breathability and its ability to take moisture from the skin which makes it the perfect to be worn in the summer months when the weather is hot.

Linen naturally creases, which is part of its charm and as a fabric that has been used for hundreds of years – it has a rustic charm about it.

It makes beautiful dresses, tunics, tops and also children’s clothes, but can also be used for embroidery, napkins, period costumes and so much more.

 

**Please note that this is a dressmaking -weight linen and has not been manufactured for heavy furnishings and upholstery such as curtains**

Postage

We always aim to post your items on the same day you have ordered them, providing you order before 1pm Monday- Friday. Any orders placed after 1pm on a Friday, or at the weekend, will be posted on the Monday. Any orders placed over a Bank holiday weekend will be posted on the Tuesday.

All of our UK parcels are sent by Royal Mail on a 2ndclass service which takes approximately 2-3 workings days to arrive once dispatched. If you require your items quickly then you can upgrade your postage upon checkout. We offer Royal Mail 1stclass or a 24-hour courier service if booked before 12pm (Monday to Friday).

International parcels are sent by a Standard International Service with Royal Mail. International parcels usually take between 3 and 10 working days to arrive depending on the country and customs.
