Vivid and striking patterns that have been hand dyed in rural Indian villages using wax.
This batik collection is produced in a unique cottage industry by specialist craftsmen who pass their skills from generation to generation. Due to the distinctive colours and designs, there may be some loose dye and residue wax on the surface of the fabric and some irregularities will occur as an inevitable feature of the hand printing process.
The excess dye and wax will come off during the pre-washing process.
Do not tumble dry or bleach. Please be aware that the dyes used include vegetable dyes and so some fading can occur after washing.
Perfect for use in colourful dressmaking projects like kaftans, tops, dresses, skirts and shirts as well as many craft uses!

Multiple purchases will ALWAYS be cut as one full length from the bolt and NOT as individual pieces.
